Job Description

Join a growing team building electromechanical systems that support U.S. Navy programs. Were looking for candidates with any experience in assembly, wiring, cable harnessing, or electronics work. If youve used hand tools, followed work instructions, or built mechanical or electrical components, youre encouraged to apply.

In this role, youll assemble interface devices, cable harnesses, circuit boards, and multirack electronic systems. Youll work from schematics, blueprints, and detailed instructions to build, wire, and test components with accuracy and care. Experience with crimping, stripping, wiring, or soldering is highly valued but were willing to train motivated candidates.

Responsibilities

* Assemble electromechanical components, interface devices, and multirack systems
* Build and route cable harnesses (stripping, crimping, terminating)
* Perform light soldering (throughhole or SMT); additional soldering skills are a plus
* Assemble electronic boxes/enclosures and install wiring, connectors, and instrumentation
* Follow schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
* Support system testing and verification procedures
* Operate automated continuity/harness test equipment (DITMCO or similar)
* Inspect assemblies to IPCA610 workmanship standards
* Use measurement tools (calipers, multimeters, ohmmeters) to verify accuracy
* Document build steps, test results, and any discrepancies

Essential Skills

* Experience in electromechanical assembly, cable harnessing, wiring, or electronic assembly
* Ability to read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and strippers
* Basic electrical knowledge (continuity checks, wiring standards)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with DITMCO or similar automated test systems
* Throughhole or surfacemount soldering experience
* Familiarity with electronic instrumentation or multirack system builds
* Background in defense, aerospace, or highreliability manufacturing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
