This role is ideal for someone who has worked in an industrial machine shop, fabrication shop, or heavy manufacturing environment. Youll handle machined parts, raw metals, and compliance documentationnot highvolume warehouse freight.

If youve inspected materials, reviewed MTRs, handled metal stock, or supported machining workflows, this position offers strong longterm potential in a skilled, precisiondriven shop.

What Youll Do

Youll serve as a key link between Receiving, Quality, Inventory, and Production.
* Receive raw materials, machined parts, and equipment; verify quantities and specs
* Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, and dimensional accuracy
* Review Material Test Reports (MTRs) and Certificates of Conformance (CoCs)
* Approve or reject materials and document results using internal forms
* Tag, label, and route conforming/nonconforming materials per quality procedures
* Scan, organize, and maintain inspection and compliance documentation
* Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of metals and components
* Maintain accurate inventory records and support Production and Quality teams
* Keep the shipping/receiving area clean, organized, and auditready
* Pick up or deliver parts, materials, or calibrated equipment to local vendors
* (company vehicle provided upon permanent hire)
* Support additional shopfloor and logistics needs based on production flow

Required Skills & Experience

* Industrial or machineshop shipping & receiving experience
* (preferred over warehouseonly backgrounds)
* Forklift and pallet jack experience
* Ability to read and interpret specs, drawings, MTRs, and compliance documents
* Experience with WMS/ERP systems and accurate data entry
* Strong attention to detailespecially with inspection and documentation
* Working knowledge of metals, materials, or basic metallurgy
* Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs
* Clean driving record (required for company vehicle use posthire)

Preferred (Big Plus)

* Experience in a machine shop, fabrication shop, or heavy industrial setting
* Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
* Experience handling machined parts, raw metal stock, or calibrated equipment
* Comfort working with quality procedures and auditdriven documentation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
