Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of various sizes, trimming excess plastic, cutting materials to specifications, and coiling them into rolls. This role requires routine lifting of 30-40 pounds and maneuvering heavier parts, with team assistance for parts exceeding 40 pounds.

Responsibilities
* Unload drainage pipes of all sizes.
* Trim excess plastic and cut materials to specifications.
* Coil materials into rolls.
* Lift up to 40 pounds routinely and maneuver parts up to 100 pounds.
* Operate hand and power tools, including a sawzall.
* Work effectively in a team-oriented culture.

Essential Skills
* General labor or production line experience.
* Machine operation experience.
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.
* Experience with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Previous machine operation experience is advantageous.
* Experience in plastics manufacturing is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role operates in a non-climate-controlled environment, which can be cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The facility is fairly organized with a recently installed brand new line, although it can become cramped if excess scrap plastic is produced. Shift hours are organized into three shifts, with potential overtime before or after shifts and every other Saturday as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
