Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with at least one year of experience in a mechanical or electronic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Read and understand assembly drawings.
* Assemble and build mail automation equipment.
* Utilize both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.
* Work independently and collaboratively within a team depending on the project.
Essential Skills
* Ability to read assembly drawings similar to IKEA furniture blueprints.
* Recognize mechanical parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.
* Identify hardware components like screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.
* Experience in using both hand and power tools is strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
* Dependability and strong organizational skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment
The position is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with a strong team spirit. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime. Employees are encouraged to bring their personality and enthusiasm to the team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
