Quality Technician (JP-005902585)

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in inspecting product quality, developing and maintaining product work instructions, promoting safe work practices, and evaluating non-conforming products and product returns. You will ensure that the quality system is maintained and that safe work practices are monitored and enforced in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the quality system is maintained.
* Monitor and enforce safe work practices in the warehouse, proactively recommending improvements.
* Identify, quarantine, and evaluate nonconforming products.
* Inspect incoming materials, in-process materials, and final products, including validations and sampling.
* Perform in-line auditing of procedures, product ID and traceability, and safety.
* Proactively recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Develop and maintain product work instructions.

Essential Skills
* 1-2 years of quality inspection experience.
* Experience with blueprint reading, hand tools, mechanical assembly, packaging, data entry, labeling, inventory control, and inspection of parts.
* Proficient math, reading, and basic technical writing skills.
* Basic computer skills, including typing and proficiency with MS Office programs.
* Accuracy, thoroughness, and high attention to detail.
* Precision measurement against blueprints/drawings.
* Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
* Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or machining experience preferred.
* Experience in general labor, production, power tools, forklift operations, and general production.
* Quality assurance skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wentzville, MO.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
