Job Description
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders. You may also operate power equipment to fill orders, mark prices on merchandise, and set up sales displays.
Responsibilities
* Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers based on incoming requisitions.
* Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
* Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
* Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves.
* Receive, unload, open, unpack, or issue sales floor merchandise.
* Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
* Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
* Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
* Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
* Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
* Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors.
* Transport packages to customers' vehicles.
Essential Skills
* Experience in warehouse packing and material handling.
* Proficiency in using RF scanners.
* Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
* Strong order picking skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
