Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dryer Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Ocala, Florida. This position is responsible for assembling industrial dryers and related components using hand and power tools while following blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble industrial dryers, subassemblies, and components according to blueprints, schematics, and written instructions
* Use hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, impact tools) safely and effectively
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and bills of materials
* Measure and verify component dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools
* Install mechanical components, fasteners, and fittings to proper specifications
* Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure assemblies meet quality standards
* Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and report discrepancies to supervision
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
* Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED preferred
* Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
* Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-based environment
* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms

Work Environment

* Industrial manufacturing environment
* Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
* Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
