Join our team as a Batch Operator, working on the production floor where you will be responsible for weighing out batches on facility scales. You will roll drums, up to 500 lbs, to pallets and prepare them for shipment. Your duties will include filling 2-3 batches/work orders a day, monitoring the process to prevent spills and inaccuracies, and sending completed batches to Quality Control for testing. Cleaning drums and mixers using various solutions will be part of your responsibilities, and you will be cross-trained on different tasks, requiring flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities
* Work safely in a production environment in close proximity to others.
* Fill containers according to instructions outlined in ISO documents.
* Complete all necessary paperwork on batch tickets.
* Operate equipment including mixers, pumps with filters, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual drum moving equipment.
* Clean equipment such as mixers, pumps, and tanks using a solvent blend.
* Occasionally transfer hazardous wastes (filters, rags, scrap paint, and solvents) to the satellite hazardous waste area.
* Follow batch making instructions to manufacture batches in portable tanks and report issues to a supervisor.
* Efficiently choose the location and proper identification of materials used in batches produced in portable tanks.
* Multitask efficiently to produce finished goods while operating multiple mills and processes simultaneously.
* Safely manufacture pastes and other dispersions using HSD mixers within the mill room.
* Handle multiple bags of powder per shift, as required by batch making directions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
