Job Description

As a Spray Technician, you will perform HVOF, plasma, and other thermal spray coating operations according to customer requirements and job folder specifications. You will be responsible for reviewing job folders to verify areas of parts to be masked, cleaned, blasted, and coated. Additionally, you will ensure all pre-coating requirements are completed as per job folder specifications and follow in-process inspection procedures to verify that operations meet customer and technical plan requirements.

Responsibilities
* Perform thermal spray coating operations such as HVOF and plasma according to job specifications.
* Review job folders to verify the areas for masking, cleaning, blasting, and coating.
* Ensure completion of all pre-coating requirements as per job specifications.
* Follow in-process inspection procedures to verify compliance with customer and technical requirements.
* Record and sign off on all applicable data as defined in the job folder.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency in CNC and machine operating.
* Experience in coating processes, particularly in the aerospace industry.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn thermal spray processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in machine operation related to coating, welding, robotic welding, or CNC is essential.
* Ability to set up and changeover new products and program machines to specifications is required.
* Ability to read blueprints or drawings is advantageous.
* Previous experience as a Spray Technician is a plus.
* Experience in a production environment demonstrating the capability to learn thermal spray processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
