Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Builder where you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality products using your mechanical skills. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and participate in a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement and employee development.

Responsibilities
* Assemble company products at the standard rate.
* Use proper tools to assist in the assembly process.
* Read and understand Job Operation Listing Report.
* Follow written work instructions and complete required quality documents.
* Accurately enter job transactions using shop floor data collection devices.
* Interpret mechanical drawings to assemble company products.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational assembly issues on standard and non-standard products.
* Perform required quality checks.
* Perform basic electrical wiring work as needed to assemble company products.
* Cut and fit conduit and other industrial wire ways.
* Interpret schematics to assemble hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel gas systems.
* Mentor entry-level assemblers.
* Lead assembly team on large projects.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings with minimal assistance.
* Ability to use measuring equipment proficiently.
* Understanding of dimensional tolerance.
* Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16.
* Knowledge of power transmission components and best practices for assembly.
* Valid Drivers License with a good driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
* 3 years experience in mechanical equipment assembly preferred.
* Industrial Electricity or Controls education preferred (apprenticeship, degree, military).
* Ability to perform algebra, geometry, and percentage calculations.
* Experience with conversions, load calculations, and calculating air flow in CFM.

Located in north central Ohio, our facility spans 165,000 sq. ft. and is equipped with the latest technology in metal manufacturing. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandusky, OH.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
