Join our team as an Industrial Sanitation Technician responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in a food manufacturing environment using heavy-duty chemicals. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in production areas.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of floors, equipment, and production areas before the next day of operations.
* Conduct deep cleanings and sanitize all machinery and equipment using chemicals, ensuring readiness for production by 5:30am.
* Clean and sanitize pipes and each component of the production line, ensuring all parts are free from contaminants.
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols, never cleaning while machines are operational.
* Utilize provided personal protective equipment, including gloves and protective suits, when working with industrial chemicals.
Essential Skills
* Experience in industrial chemical sanitation, ideally within food manufacturing.
* Ability to work in a GMP/SOP environment, adhering to protocols like wearing hair nets and glasses.
* Physical capability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75 lbs.
* Strong work ethic with the ability to work quickly and maintain good attendance.
Work Environment
Work in a food manufacturing environment adhering to CGMP and HAACP guidelines. Experience variable temperatures on the production floor, which is not climate-controlled. Protective work boots are required, along with adherence to CGMP policies including restrictions on jewelry and strict attire protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.90 - $22.90/hr.
