Job Description

This role involves assisting in tumbling and shipping operations. Responsibilities include placing small parts into washing machines for tumbling, loading parts into sandblasting machines, and preparing them for paint. Additional tasks may include loading parts into chemical baths, wiping them with acetone, packaging items for shipment, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and performing general machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

* Assist in tumbling operations by placing 2030 small parts into washing machines
* Load parts into sandblasting machines and prepare them for painting
* Package and prepare items for shipment
* Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
* Perform general machine maintenance and cleanup tasks

Essential Skills

* General production experience
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Experience in manufacturing environments with repetitive tasks
* Ability to meet production goals
* Proficiency with hand tools and basic assembly work

Additional Skills & Qualifications

* Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
* Comfortable working around chemicals and wearing a respirator
* Basic math skills and data entry capability
* Willingness to learn and support multiple departments as needed

Work Environment

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in thermoplastic composite airplane parts. The facility is exceptionally clean and equipped with advanced technology such as laser jets, welders, and presses. The role requires standing throughout the shift, occasional heavy lifting, and working in a fast-paced production environment. The shop employs approximately 70 team members with significant room for expansion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of POST FALLS, ID.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
