Job Description

As an Assembly Technician, you will perform various repetitive processes using machines and hand tools to assemble and sub-assemble component parts.

You will work in the Assembly Cell to put together sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities
* Cross-train in all assembly functions.
* Maintain records relating to production, downtime, quality, and maintenance.
* Ensure all quality standards are met by visually inspecting work and using measuring devices.
* Keep work area, equipment, and machine clean and orderly at all times.
* Perform necessary computer transactions in various applications and software programs.
* Perform miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by the team lead or manager.

Essential Skills
* Mechanically inclined.
* Proficient in using power tools.
* Attention to detail.
* Two years of hands-on experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Basic arithmetic skills (MDAS, decimals).
* Ability to read and comprehend work orders at an 8th-grade level.
* Hand dexterity and ability to work with both hands.
* Ability to use basic hand tools.
* Safety conscientious.
* Willingness to cross-train.

Work Environment

Work on the first shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday.

A clean and climate-controlled environment.

The assembly cell is ergonomic and has a team size of 3 to 6 individuals depending on the task.

The dress code requires PPE: steel toe boots, long work pants, safety glasses, and a safety vest.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.16/hr.
