Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and efficient Packer to process and ship small package orders ranging from 2 to 60 lbs. The ideal candidate will utilize shipping software systems for FedEx and UPS to generate labels and complete shipments, ensuring all orders received before 4:00 PM are shipped the same day. You will load completed shipments onto designated carrier trucks and promptly notify Shipping and Warehouse Managers of any risks to meeting SLA deadlines such as high order volume, staffing shortages, or large orders. A clean, organized, and safe work environment must be maintained at all packing stations.

Responsibilities
* Process and ship small package orders safely and efficiently.
* Utilize shipping software systems for FedEx and UPS to generate labels.
* Load completed shipments onto designated carrier trucks.
* Ensure all orders received before 4:00 PM are shipped the same day.
* Notify Shipping and Warehouse Managers of risks to SLA deadlines.

Essential Skills
* Ability to lift and handle packages weighing 260 lbs.
* Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software.
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Commitment to safety and operational procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in packing, inventory, production, and picking.
* Ability to stand all day and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The warehouse is not temperature-controlled and requires steel toe boots. The break schedule includes a total of 1 hour, with specific times for breaks and lunch: 10:20 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch must be taken at 12:00 PM or 12:40 PM, and 2:20 PM to 2:30 PM. All staff must be back and operational by 1:20 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
