Talascend is currently seeking a HVAC Maintenance Supervisor for a contract opportunity with our client in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Overview

This position involves supervising maintenance operations and providing hands-on technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems to ensure efficient building operations and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct contractors while monitoring their assigned responsibilities and performance quality.
Perform maintenance service requests and preventive/predictive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
Respond effectively to all building emergencies and after-hours site issues as needed.
Complete facility inspections and prepare technical reports on mechanical systems, identifying deficiencies and improvement recommendations.
Mentor junior engineering staff and provide hands-on training in maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Document work performance and materials procurement using computerized maintenance management systems.
Partner with engineering leads, project managers, and facility stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and system optimization.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
5+ years of relevant work experience as senior HVAC tech, lead HVAC tech, or similar role.
2+ years of people management experience managing maintenance/engineering personnel.
EPA section 608 universal certification.
Journeyman refrigeration technician's license / refrigeration technician's license.
Valid state driver's license that must be maintained.
Experience using computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and/or building management system (BMS).
