Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a new distribution facility where your expertise as a sit-down forklift operator will be vital in efficiently unloading and organizing products. Your role will involve moving goods safely within the loading docks and warehouse, while ensuring neat stacking and safe operations. As a key member of the team, you will focus on unloading, loading, replenishing, and auditing, ensuring that pick and bulk areas are replenished with precision.

Responsibilities
* Pick orders from pick sheets to meet managerial expectations, including wrapping pallets with shrink-wrap by hand or using an electric power wrapper.
* Perform order picking, which involves lifting and re-palletizing products at a company standard of 120 cases per hour.
* Unpack cartons and boxes to check materials or repack for internal projects.
* Compare data against documents provided by management and note any irregularities.
* Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to customer service standards.
* Provide quality service to clients by ensuring all tasks are completed quickly, accurately, and without damage.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency with sit-down counterbalance forklifts, particularly the Toyota brand.
* Experience in unloading and putting away items.
* Order picking skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
* Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience of one or more years on all listed machines.
* Warehouse experience with pick sheets.
* Customer service experience.

Work Environment

Work alongside a growing team in a warehouse that will expand to 12 staff members by the new year. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, and the possibility of overtime during busy times.
