Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing injection molding equipment, as well as performing preventive and predictive maintenance procedures for both molding and auxiliary equipment. You will also maintain auxiliary equipment such as mold temperature controllers, material dryers, compressors, conveyors, and material loaders. Further responsibilities include ensuring building safety and appearance, maintaining plumbing systems, assembling and installing new equipment, fabricating parts from drawings or measurements, and assisting in recordkeeping and documentation as required by our Maintenance Management System.

Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment.
* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance procedures for molding and auxiliary equipment.
* Maintain auxiliary equipment including mold temperature controllers, material dryers, compressors, conveyors, and material loaders.
* Ensure building safety and appearance, including painting, utilities, and ventilation.
* Maintain building plumbing, including waste and process plumbing.
* Assemble and install new equipment.
* Fabricate parts from drawings or measurements.
* Assist in recordkeeping and documentation required by our Maintenance Management System.
* Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and functional maintenance work area.

Work Environment

The work environment is hot and dusty, especially during the summer months when the kiln reaches temperatures of 2150 degrees. However, you will not be required to be near the kiln. We prioritize safety, and our location has maintained a strong safety record with no lost time injuries for six years.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
