Job Description

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces by cleaning, degreasing, pretreating, and inspecting metal parts. You will perform media blasting to remove rust, paint, and contaminants while masking protected areas. Your role will involve applying powder coating by hanging parts, operating powder guns, adjusting settings, and ensuring coatings meet specifications. You will also run curing operations by loading ovens, monitoring cure times, and verifying proper curing, and inspect finished parts for coverage, adhesion, surface profile, and overall finish. Additionally, maintaining equipment for blasting, coating, and curing processes and following safety requirements including PPE, respirator use, ventilation, and clean work areas are essential aspects of this role. You will document work including materials used and inspection results and be capable of lifting 5070 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
