Job Description

The Skilled Laborer will help dismantle a double-level conveyor system and support the manufacturing and assembly of custom automation equipment. This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
* Assist with the teardown and removal of a double-level conveyor system in a manufacturing facility.
* Perform a variety of hands-on tasks to support the manufacturing and assembly of custom automation equipment.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to disassemble, move, and prepare equipment and components.
* Follow detailed instructions and work orders to complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule.
* Handle materials and components, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to complete project-driven assignments.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with site safety procedures and guidelines.
* Identify and report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
* Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
* Support other general labor and production tasks as needed to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Essential Skills
* Experience working in a manufacturing facility or similar industrial environment.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for mechanical teardown and general labor tasks.
* Ability to lift and safely handle up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
* Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with conveyors and other manufacturing equipment.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.
* Strong attention to detail and focus on safety while performing physical, hands-on work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience working with conveyor systems or custom automation equipment.
* Experienced skilled labor or production work in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Work Environment

You can expect an industrial setting with standard safety practices, equipment, and personal protective gear appropriate for manufacturing and teardown activities.
