Job Description
The Electronics Production Supervisor is responsible for managing daily manufacturing operations, overseeing staff in the assembly, testing, and inspection of electronic components. The role ensures production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards (IPC-A-610) and adhering to safety protocols (OSHA). The supervisor is expected to drive efficiency using Lean manufacturing techniques, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and lead team training.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily output to meet production schedules.
* Prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure.
* Plan staffing and labor requirements efficiently.
* Coordinate shift handoffs and cross-shift activities.
* Manage resources including materials, manpower, and machines.
* Hold team accountable and manage performance effectively.
* Build teamwork and morale within the team.
* Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Essential Skills
* In-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing, surface mount technology, conformal coating processes, materials, and equipment.
* Experience in supervising and leading a team of conformal coat operators.
* Proficiency in operating automated machinery.
* Experience with SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies.
* Ability to read and understand assembly documentation.
* Capability to oversee maintenance and calibration of coating equipment.
* Manage inventory of conformal coating materials and supplies.
* Solid understanding of IPC 610-A or ANSI-J technical standards.
* Identify process improvements to support build requirements.
* Good computer skills with experience in ERP or MRP systems and MS Office suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Strong communication skills.
* 2 years of leadership experience.
* Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and SMT lines.
* Familiarity with electronic assembly and pc board processes.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled electronics manufacturing facility specializing in PC board production. The position involves a 2nd shift schedule from 3 pm to 11:30 pm with potential overtime, including some Saturdays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
