We are currently seeking a temporary Electrical Mechanical Assembler to support production operations. This role involves a combination of hands-on mechanical assembly and light electrical wiring in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

* Perform mechanical assembly and light electrical wiring tasks
* Strip, crimp, route, and solder wires for cable and wiring assemblies
* Assemble components and subassemblies using small hand tools
* Follow diagrams, work instructions, and standard procedures to ensure accuracy
* Assist with cable preparation and component assembly
* Maintain quality standards and minimize rework
* Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
* Support additional production tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications

* Previous assembly or manufacturing experience in a repetitive environment
* Experience with wire stripping, crimping, and basic soldering (wire-to-wire)
* Ability to read diagrams and follow visual instructions
* Comfortable using small hand tools (crimpers, screwdrivers, wire strippers)
* Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
* Reliable, with the ability to work independently after training

Preferred Qualifications

* Electrical assembly or cable harness experience
* Familiarity with low-voltage wiring
* Mechanical assembly experience
* Experience in a production/manufacturing setting
* IPC soldering experience (asset, not required)
* Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Work Environment

* Manufacturing setting with bench-style assembly work
* Repetitive, hands-on tasks requiring standing for most of the shift
* Clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace
* Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (with occasional overtime/weekends)
* PPE provided (safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, etc.)
