En tant quassembleur mcanique, vous effectuez diverses tches de main-duvre gnrale et de fabrication, incluant la coupe et le perage de matriaux, lassemblage de composantes en tle, la prparation de tuyauterie et le soutien la production de refroidisseurs. Vous contribuez galement aux activits dexpdition, de rception, dinventaire et de maintien de la propret des aires de travail, tout en respectant des normes leves de sant et de scurit dans un environnement industriel.

Responsabilits
* Effectuer des tches de travail gnral, notamment la coupe et le perage de matriaux.
* Participer aux activits dexpdition, de rception et de gestion de linventaire.
* Maintenir la propret des cellules de travail et des aires communes en effectuant des tches de mnage.
* Assister la fabrication en coupant et en perant des matriaux dacier selon les besoins de production.
* Raliser lassemblage mcanique de tle, y compris lassemblage de deux sous-ensembles de ventilo-convecteurs.
* Contribuer la production de refroidisseurs (chillers) selon les priorits de production.
* Effectuer la coupe et lajustement de tuyauterie (pipe fitting) conformment aux spcifications.
* Nettoyer rgulirement les postes de travail et sassurer que lenvironnement demeure organis et scuritaire.
* Travailler au besoin dans des espaces clos en respectant les procdures de scurit.
* Travailler au besoin en hauteur en utilisant lquipement de protection appropri.
* Utiliser des outils manuels et lectriques de faon scuritaire et efficace aprs la formation reue.
* Lire et interprter des plans dassemblage pour raliser un montage prcis des composantes.
* Mesurer des pices en units impriales et mtriques pour assurer la conformit des pices et des assemblages.
* Manipuler et travailler avec des mtaux, y compris lacier, le cuivre et largent, selon les exigences de production.
* Collaborer avec lquipe de production pour respecter les chanciers et les standards de qualit.
* Adopter et respecter en tout temps les rgles de sant et scurit, y compris lutilisation de lEPI et le respect des procdures en environnement bruyant et industriel.

Comptences Essentielles
* Au moins 1 an dexprience en production dans un environnement manufacturier.
* Au moins 1 an dexprience avec les outils (manuels et/ou lectriques).
* Au moins 1 an dexprience de travail avec des produits mtalliques.
* Capacit lire et interprter des plans dassemblage.
* Capacit lire des mesures en systmes imprial et mtrique.
* Exprience pratique avec des outils manuels et des outils lectriques en contexte de production.
* Exprience de travail avec des mtaux, incluant lacier et idalement le cuivre ou largent.
* Aptitude travailler en hauteur et laise avec lquipement de scurit requis.
* Aptitude travailler dans des espaces clos en respectant les procdures de scurit.
* Capacit suivre des instructions techniques et des procdures de fabrication.
* Capacit travailler dans un environnement industriel bruyant tout en restant concentr et scuritaire.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you perform a variety of general labor and fabrication tasks, including cutting and drilling materials, assembling sheet metal components, preparing piping, and supporting chiller production. You also contribute to shipping, receiving, inventory, and housekeeping activities while maintaining high standards of health and safety in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities
* Perform general labor tasks, including cutting and drilling materials as required.
* Support shipping, receiving, and inventory activities to ensure smooth material flow.
* Maintain clean and organized work cells and common areas through regular housekeeping.
* Assist with fabrication by drilling and cutting steel materials according to production needs.
* Carry out mechanical sheet metal assembly, including assembling two fan coil sub-assemblies.
* Assist in the production of chillers (chiller units) as production priorities require.
* Cut and fit piping in accordance with specifications and assembly requirements.
* Clean and organize workstations regularly to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
* Work in confined spaces when required, following all safety procedures.
* Work at heights when required, using the appropriate safety equipment.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively after receiving training.
* Read and interpret assembly drawings to complete accurate mechanical assemblies.
* Measure components using both imperial and metric units to verify part and assembly accuracy.
* Handle and work with metals, including steel and, where required, copper and silver.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
* Follow all health and safety rules at all times, including proper use of PPE and safe work practices in a loud industrial setting.

Essential Skills
* At least 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
* At least 1 year of hands-on tool experience (hand tools and/or power tools).
* At least 1 year of experience working with metal products.
* Ability to read and interpret assembly plans and drawings.
* Ability to read measurements in both imperial and metric systems.
* Practical experience using hand tools and power tools in a production setting.
* Experience working with metals, including steel and ideally copper or silver.
* Comfort working at heights and using the required safety equipment.
* Comfort working in confined spaces while following safety procedures.
* Ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturing procedures.
* Ability to work in a loud industrial environment while maintaining focus and safety.

Additional Skills and Qualifications
* Comfort using a blow torch is considered an asset.
* Experience with brazing or pipe work is an advantage.
* Interest in ongoing training and obtaining technical certifications.
* Ability to adapt to different workstations, including working under units for brazing.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in mechanical assembly.
* Positive attitude toward safety, quality, and teamwork.
* Willingness to grow into more specialized roles over time, such as welding

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dorval, QC.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.50/hr.
