Job Description

Our role as a Maintenance Technician provides hands-on mechanical and technical support for production personnel operating high-speed packaging equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing a wide range of machinery including sorters, fillers, cappers, torquers, check-weighers, labelers, inkjet and laser coders, CCD camera inspection units, neckband/sleevers, cartoners, bundlers, case tapers, and compounding equipment.

In this role, you will work in a supportive team environment where technicians collaborate closely with operators, engineers, and maintenance staff to solve problems and improve processes. Responsibilities
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-speed packaging equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
* Execute equipment changeovers and document activities following cGMP standards.
* Perform accurate machine setups and adjust parameters.
* Verify equipment performance after repairs.
* Train machine operators on setup, operation, and safety procedures.
* Requisition replacement parts and complete project-based assignments.
* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, repair manuals, and SOPs.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and basic machine shop equipment.

Essential Skills
* Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills.
* Proficiency in electrical systems, including single and three-phase systems.
* Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance.
* Ability to perform machine setups and calibrations.
* Skilled in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
* Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office and maintenance database entry.
* Proven ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
* Experience with precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and diagnostic testing equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Orchard Park, NY.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $66560.00/yr.
