Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with company standards. You will assist with mixing, packaging, and labeling food products, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization in the work area. You will follow all safety and quality guidelines, including HACCP and GMP standards, and perform routine checks to ensure product specifications are met. Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors is also a key part of this role.

Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor production equipment according to company standards.
* Assist with mixing, packaging, and labeling food products.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
* Follow all safety and quality guidelines, including HACCP and GMP standards.
* Perform routine checks to ensure product specifications are met.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Essential Skills
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred.
* Any previous GMP experience.
* Bilingual is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, new facility within the food industry. The role requires working in a temperature-controlled environment across three shifts: 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 7am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
