Job Description

Join a skilled team that manufactures custom cabinetry and performs extensive milling work. In this role, you will build high-quality cabinets from blueprints, using a variety of hand and power tools to complete precise assemblies and wood cutting tasks.

Responsibilities
* Interpret and work from blueprints and drawings to build custom cabinets to specification.
* Perform cabinet assembly using a variety of hand and power tools.
* Carry out wood cutting, milling, and millwork operations to prepare components for cabinet construction.
* Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
* Operate equipment such as table saws and other woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
* Inspect materials and finished cabinets for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
* Lift and move materials and finished products weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all shop safety procedures.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

Essential Skills
* 3+ years of cabinet making experience in a production or custom woodworking environment.
* Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.
* Strong hand and power tool experience, including safe operation and basic maintenance.
* Proven measuring experience with the ability to take accurate measurements using a tape measure and other tools.
* Experience operating woodworking equipment such as table saws and related machinery.
* Manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise assembly and finish work.
* Ability to perform millwork and milling operations for custom cabinetry components.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work throughout the shift.

Work Environment

This is a day-shift role, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in a woodworking and millwork shop environment. You will work around woodworking machinery such as table saws, mills, and other power tools, along with a variety of hand tools and measuring equipment. The role involves standing for extended periods, performing manual tasks, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Expect a hands-on, production-oriented setting focused on custom cabinetry and milling work, with appropriate work attire suitable for a busy shop floor.
