Schedule & Work Environment

* 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
* Overtime available based on production needs
* Work in a large manufacturing shop with heavy equipment
* Use of cranes, weld stations, and fabrication tools daily

What Youll Do

* Perform MIG welding on small and large machinery and structural components
* Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop orders
* Work from assembly prints and pick lists to complete builds accurately
* Operate overhead and jib cranes to safely move materials and finished products
* Weld in multiple positions (flat, vertical, horizontal)
* Inspect your work to ensure quality and minimize scrap

What Were Looking For

* MIG welding experience (or recent welding school grads welcome)
* Ability to read basic blueprints and weld symbols
* Comfort working with measuring tools and fractions
* Ability to weld in multiple positions
* Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Preferred (Not Required)

* Experience with heavy or custom fabrication
* Familiarity with overhead cranes
* Experience fitting parts or working with assembly processes

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $56160.00/yr.

Benefits include competitive pay, health, dental and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(K) with company match. They also have a HSA and FSA for employees (Benefits are attached). Double Time paid after 50 hours worked.
