Mechanical Assembler / Machine Builder
$30-$34/hr + $130/day Per Diem (7 Days) | 12-Month Contract | Sheboygan Falls, WI
We are hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers and Machine Builders for a long-term opportunity building custom OEM machinery in a clean, well-lit manufacturing environment.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience assembling industrial equipment, reading blueprints, and working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measurement tools.
Job Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical subassemblies, mid-assemblies, and large OEM equipment
Read and interpret 2D and 3D blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing drawings
Install and assemble hydraulic and pneumatic components
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Perform mechanical assembly with minimal supervision
Utilize overhead cranes and rigging equipment to safely move components
Verify quality and accuracy of completed assemblies

Qualifications

3+ years of mechanical assembly, machine building, millwright, or industrial maintenance experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Familiarity with rigging and overhead crane operations
Must have personal hand tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay & Benefits

$30-$34/hour
$130/day Per Diem paid 7 days per week

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Overtime available
