Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated fabricator for a dynamic role within a manufacturing and fabrication environment. This opportunity is perfect for individuals with fabrication experience, welding knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Candidates with transferable skills and mechanical aptitude may also be considered for training.

Responsibilities
* Perform fitting and fabrication duties in a manufacturing environment.
* Complete metal core welding and related fabrication tasks.
* Read and interpret measurements, work instructions, and production requirements.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
* Maintain quality standards and follow all safety procedures.
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Essential Skills
* Previous experience as a fitter, fabricator, or in a related manufacturing role preferred.
* Metal core welding experience required.
* At least 2 years of related experience preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Open to candidates with transferable skills who are looking to grow into the role through training.

Work Environment

Work in a steel manufacturing facility that is loud, hot, and dirty. The training schedule is on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM for 12 weeks, depending on skill level. The regular schedule is on the 2nd shift, MondayThursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with possible Saturday shifts from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A 10% shift differential is offered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TN.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
