Job Description
The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations within the molding department to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role leads a team of operators and technicians, maintains adherence to production schedules and quality standards, and enforces company policies while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily production activities in the molding department to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations.
* Lead, direct, and support a team of operators and technicians, providing clear guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
* Ensure production output meets established schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
* Promote and enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout the department.
* Support and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve workflow, and optimize efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Oversee and coordinate work in machining, assembly, or paint operations as needed to support overall production goals.
Essential Skills
* At least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
* At least 3+ years of lead or supervisor experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
* Experience in assembly or machining production environments.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their practical application on the shop floor.
* Effective communication skills, including the ability to work with bilingual team members.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
* Bilingual communication skills are beneficial for supporting a diverse workforce.
* Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement and process optimization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $64000.00/yr.
