Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our team as Machine Operator Assistants on 1st Shift. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing while learning from experienced operators and developing valuable technical skills in a fast-paced production environment. Occasional overtime may be required on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

* Learn to safely and efficiently operate a variety of converting and manufacturing equipment.
* Follow established quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications.
* Read, understand, and follow work orders and production documents.
* Assist machine operators with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
* Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity throughout each shift.
* Perform assigned duties within designated work centers and production areas.
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
* Continuously develop and expand skills through training and hands-on experience.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
* Cross-train in multiple areas of the converting plant and perform tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
* Basic math skills, including the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
* Ability to work around industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Willingness to work overtime when required.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical abilities assessment.
