Job Description

This role supports production operations by assisting with the setup, operation, and monitoring of a laser shaker machine. You will work alongside experienced operators, learn how the equipment functions, and help ensure that products meet quality and safety standards in a clean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
* Assist with the daily operation of the laser shaker machine on the production line.
* Learn and apply proper machine operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient performance.
* Support setup, adjustment, and basic changeovers of the machine as directed.
* Use hand tools to perform simple machine-related tasks and adjustments.
* Monitor machine performance and promptly report any issues or irregularities to the lead operator or supervisor.
* Handle materials and finished products, including lifting items up to 50 lbs as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machine to support safety and efficiency.
* Follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and production procedures.

Essential Skills
* Experience or strong aptitude in machine operation within a manufacturing or similar environment.
* Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
* Physical ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
* Willingness to learn the operation and functions of a laser shaker machine.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience as a machine operator or machine helper in a manufacturing setting.
* Comfort working with mechanical equipment and learning new machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a production team and communicate clearly with coworkers.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
