Job Title: Assembly Operator – Quick Release Couplings (2nd Shift)
Location: Grantsburg, WI
2nd shift 2:30pm-1:00am ($20)
3rd Shift: Nights $21
Guaranteed 7 day per diem at 160 a day

Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and packaging quick release couplings in a clean, well-organized production environment. You will operate assembly equipment, verify product functionality, and uphold strict quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives on a fast-paced 2nd shift.


Responsibilities
Assemble quick release couplings according to standard work instructions and established procedures.
Operate all required assembly equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
Package completed assemblies accurately for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Verify the function and performance of products through visual inspection and basic testing to confirm they meet quality standards.
Follow all standard work and work instructions to maintain consistency and reliability in the production process.
Ensure quality standards are met at every step of the process, promptly identifying and reporting any defects or nonconformances.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and help implement solutions using A3 and 3-legged 5-Why problem-solving tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work area by applying 5S principles, including sorting, setting in order, shining, standardizing, and sustaining.
Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Consistently maintain a minimum 90% daily attainment level for production and performance goals.
Collaborate effectively with team members and support a positive, productive work environment.
Handle bench-type assembly tasks that may involve hand tools, machine operation, and packaging duties.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and document work accurately.
Strong manual dexterity to perform precise assembly tasks and operate equipment.
Attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough visual inspections of parts and finished products.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Capability to handle a fast-paced work environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Motivated mindset with a positive, can-do attitude toward learning and problem solving.
Experience or comfort with production, assembly, general labor, and packing tasks.
Ability to operate basic assembly and packaging equipment and use hand tools safely.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workplace using 5S principles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in cleanroom or similarly controlled environments is beneficial.
Background in machine operation or machine operator roles is an advantage.
Familiarity with inspection processes and basic quality control methods.
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies, including A3 and 3-legged 5-Why tools, is a plus.
Comfort working with automation and CNC equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
This position is on 2nd shift, working approximately 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in a well-lit, clean manufacturing facility. Team members follow established safety protocols and 5S practices to maintain an organized, efficient, and comfortable workplace.
