Job Description
The Food Service Supervisor / Assistant Manager oversees day-to-day operations in a fast-paced restaurant and food service environment. This role focuses on leading and developing team members, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. Responsibilities
* Supervise and support daily food service and restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
* Lead, coach, and train team members on operational procedures, customer service best practices, and food safety standards.
* Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift management to ensure appropriate coverage and productivity.
* Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and overall operational standards are consistently met and maintained.
* Monitor inventory levels, support inventory control, and assist with ordering, receiving, and asset management of products and supplies.
* Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally, providing excellent customer support and creating a positive guest experience.
* Support the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of employees to build a strong, capable team.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and health and sanitation standards.
* Assist management with performance coaching, feedback, and team accountability to drive results.
* Help drive operational efficiency, productivity, and team morale through effective leadership and communication.
* Collaborate with leadership to improve processes related to invoicing, retail operations, and overall service quality.
Essential Skills
* Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hospitality, or retail management preferred.
* Experience leading, training, or supervising employees in a customer-facing environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members and guests.
* Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Skills in inventory control and asset management within a food service or retail setting.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $43680.00/yr.
