Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves the assembly of large units, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, specialized torque equipment, pneumatic tooling, electrical testing equipment, and lifting devices/cranes. The successful candidate will be manipulating components during the assembly process and learning the technical aspects of assembly, including troubleshooting and repair of in-process items. This is not an assembly line or basic assembler role; we are looking for candidates with a strong mechanical inclination.
Responsibilities
* Assemble large multi-step products using various tools and equipment.
* Interpret and follow blueprints and specifications for custom engine assemblies.
* Utilize torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, and electrical tooling to perform assembly tasks.
* Document processes and progress using a CPU for reviewing work instructions.
* Troubleshoot and repair in-process engines as needed.
* Ensure all tasks are performed with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience in an industrial environment working with hands.
* Experience using mechanical tooling such as torque equipment and DC tools.
* Mid-level mechanical aptitude required.
* Ability to follow written work instructions, SOPs, and blueprints.
* CPU skills to follow engineering drawings and processes.
Available Shift & Pay
* 1st Shift: 6:30AM-2:30PM - $21.34
* 2nd Shift: 2:30PM-10:30PM - $22.09
* 3rd Shift: 10:30PM- 6:30AM - $22.09
* Mandatory OT is a full shift every other Saturday.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment split between assembly and machine shop areas. The facility maintains a relaxed dress code but requires PPE such as steel or composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses. The campus is tobacco-free, with designated areas for use during breaks. Shifts include 1st Shift (6:30AM-2:30PM), 2nd Shift (2:30PM-10:30PM), 3rd Shift (10:30PM-6:30AM), and alternate schedules available that are 12 hour days, 3x per week. Overtime is scheduled for every other Saturday throughout 2026.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.34 - $22.09/hr.
