Job Description

The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced screen printing production facility. This role drives production performance, ensures quality standards are consistently met, and maintains strong communication across departments to meet customer expectations and delivery commitments. The position requires a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching and developing teams, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
* Monitor daily production activities to ensure schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery requirements are met.
* Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate employees while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
* Organize staffing levels and workflow to maximize production efficiency and machine utilization.
* Manage production planning and operational execution, including organizing daily work, managing schedules, and monitoring output.
* Coordinate workflow across departments and partner with scheduling, production, and support teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time order completion.
* Interact regularly with Sales, Art, Scheduling, Production, and Technical teams to maintain strong communication and productive working relationships.
* Address operational and employee-related issues promptly while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Monitor quality standards throughout the production process and drive corrective actions when necessary.
* Prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and customer commitments.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
* Set clear expectations for the production team and ensure performance goals are understood and achieved.
* Use Microsoft Office applications to track production activities, prepare reports, and support operational decision-making.

Essential Skills
* Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
* Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance, and drive measurable results.
* Strong people leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on accountability and employee engagement.
* Demonstrated experience managing production schedules, workflow, and machine utilization.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Art, Scheduling, Production, and Technical teams.
* Effective coaching and employee development skills to build capabilities and performance within the team.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to quality and safety.
* Ability to motivate teams and drive accountability toward safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
* Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing processes and operational efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Background in roles such as Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Production Manager, Shift Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Lead, or Operations Team Lead.
* Experience working in a screen printing or similar production facility.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships.
* Experience participating in or leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
