Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment. This includes electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, related grounds, and production equipment across assigned buildings. The role demands a strong focus on troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
* Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment on all HVAC systems.
* Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment.
* Maintain, operate, and repair electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds.
* Study and become familiar with equipment and methods required for everyday activities, including building automation systems and fire/life safety systems.
* Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
* Complete daily and weekly work assignments in various areas, including Electrical, HVAC, and Piping/Plumbing.

Essential Skills
* Proficient in HVAC, electrical installation, and 480 3-phase electrical systems.
* Experience with ESWP and industrial HVAC services.
* Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
* Capability to drive for long periods.
* Able to climb ladders up to 30 feet with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
* High School diploma or GED equivalent, with technical training or a degree.
* Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
* Knowledge of overall system design and applications.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.36 - $41.36/hr.
