Job Description

As a Welder Trainee, you will be responsible for mastering welding skills, operating equipment safely, and assembling metal parts with precision. You will undergo a comprehensive training program to qualify for a full-time welding position.

Responsibilities
* Pass and maintain required welder certifications and qualifications.
* Operate overhead cranes and welding equipment safely.
* Set up and adjust welding equipment for proper weld quality.
* Weld and assemble metal components in various positions.
* Heat, form, fit, and position materials for welding.
* Read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use measuring tools accurately.
* Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.
* Cross-train and support various production areas as needed.
* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
* Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
* Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency with tape measure, assembly, production, hand tools, mechanical assembly, power tools, and manufacturing mechanical tasks.
* Welding experience or certification through an educational institution.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mc Connellsburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.75/hr.
