Join our team to operate production lines in the Packaging Department. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining production filling and packaging equipment, including filling, capping, labeling, coding, and packaging machines, as well as conveyors. Your role will ensure optimum operating efficiency by replenishing equipment and machines with required packaging supplies and cleaning equipment parts.
Responsibilities
* Operate production lines in the Packaging Department as per the supervisor's assignment.
* Set up production filling and packaging equipment in line with standard operating procedures and production schedule specifications.
* Replenish equipment and machines with required packaging supplies and clean equipment parts as needed.
* Rotate between five stations on the operating line, ensuring smooth operation and attention to detail at each station.
* Perform tasks such as placing bottles on the line, capping, labeling, packing, and skidding finished products.

Essential Skills
* 3+ months of experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse settings.
* Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
* Reliable attendance and punctuality.
* Experience with forklift operation, machine operation, and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Exposure to manufacturing environments with varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise.
* Experience working with chemicals or in a chemical environment.
* Ability to perform basic math and log information into a computer using Google Docs.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, spacious older building with all necessary accommodations. Operate in a chemical manufacturing plant with up to 5 stations per line, rotating tasks every 30 minutes. Day shifts run from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime available after 8 hours and on Saturdays.
