This role focuses on operating molding equipment and working on assembly lines to produce plastic automotive parts. You will assemble components, inspect products for quality, sort and package finished goods, and stock materials to support efficient production operations.
Responsibilities
* Operate molding machines to produce plastic automotive parts according to production specifications and safety standards.
* Work on assembly lines to accurately assemble plastic components into finished automotive parts.
* Inspect parts for defects, ensuring all products meet quality and safety requirements.
* Sort products based on quality, type, or production batch and prepare them for packaging or further processing.
* Package finished parts securely and accurately, following established packaging procedures.
* Stock materials and finished goods in designated areas to maintain organized inventory and support continuous production flow.
* Use hand tools and basic equipment safely to perform assembly, inspection, and packaging tasks.
* Perform general labor and production tasks as needed to support team goals and meet daily output targets.
* Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the proper use of required footwear and equipment.
* Work collaboratively within small work cells, communicating effectively with team members to maintain productivity and quality.
Essential Skills
* Experience working as a production worker in a manufacturing or general labor environment.
* Ability to operate molding machines and other general production equipment safely and efficiently.
* Hands-on experience with assembly line work, including assembling plastic or similar components.
* Strong attention to detail for inspection, sorting, and quality control of finished parts.
* Proficiency in basic packaging and packing procedures to prepare products for shipment or storage.
* Comfort using hand tools and basic equipment in a production setting.
* Ability to perform general labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
* Reliable work habits and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Capability to work 8-hour shifts and up to 6 days per week as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
* Background in general production, assembly, inspection, or packaging roles.
* Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial.
* Ability to work effectively in small work cells with a team-oriented mindset.
* Comfort working in varying temperature conditions, including hot environments during summer months.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a clean manufacturing facility organized into small work cells with a few coworkers in each area. The operation runs traditional 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and third shift from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Shifts may run up to 6 days per week for a maximum of 48 hours. The environment can be hot during the summer months, and you will be around production machinery, assembly lines, and packaging stations. Steel toe boots or shoes are required as part of the dress code to ensure safety on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.50/hr.
