Talascend is currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Chandler, Arizona.

Overview

The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring execution testing and commissioning activities for the subcontractors. The role involves ensuring detailed checkout and verified functionality checks are performed and documented to meet contractual standards, with industry experience in semi-conductor or data center industries being highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Perform system walkdowns
Verify installation and system readiness
Monitor equipment performance
Document deficiencies
Coordinate vendors and construction support
Support turnover and acceptance testing
Ensure compliance with startup procedures and LOTO requirements
Qualifications

Ability to perform detailed checkout and documentation
Strong coordination and communication skills
