Job Description
This role focuses on accurately processing incoming and outgoing freight, maintaining organized and compliant inventory, and supporting a fast-paced warehouse operation. You will verify shipments against purchase orders, prepare outbound equipment for field and retail clients, and ensure that all inventory movements are recorded accurately in the Warehouse Management System. The position requires strong attention to detail, consistent data integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, secure, and PCI-compliant work environment.
Responsibilities
* Process incoming freight by receiving, unloading, and verifying shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy in quantities and items.
* Safely package and prepare outbound equipment, including terminals, cables, and parts, for shipment to field and retail clients.
* Monitor stock levels of terminals, cables, and parts using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory tools.
* Perform daily and annual physical cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
* Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, update system records, and support real-time inventory visibility.
* Handle shipping and receiving tasks for carriers such as FedEx and UPS, including labeling, documentation, and tracking.
* Operate pallet jacks and coordinate movement of goods within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and PCI-compliant work area in accordance with safety and security standards.
* Perform data entry and updates in inventory and shipping systems with a high level of accuracy and strong data integrity.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and support a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Adhere to established procedures and guidelines for inventory control, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
* Remain on your feet for the majority of the shift while working at standing desks and using computer-based systems.
Essential Skills
* Proven shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
* Hands-on experience with RF scanners for inventory tracking and data capture.
* Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.
* Demonstrated inventory management and tracking skills, including inventory control and cycle counts.
* Experience shipping with FedEx and UPS, including preparation of packages and documentation.
* Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office for basic documentation, tracking, and reporting.
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and data integrity.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Ability to work well with others and collaborate as part of a warehouse operations team.
* Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience working with inventory software beyond basic WMS tools.
* Familiarity with forklift operations in a warehouse setting (note: there is one forklift in the building).
* Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined safety and compliance standards.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Work Environment
The work environment is a temperature-controlled facility designed for comfort and consistency throughout the year. You will primarily work at standing desks and spend approximately 85% of the day on a computer, using inventory and shipping systems. The role requires being on your feet for the entire shift, with typical hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The warehouse uses pallet jacks and has one forklift in the building, and operations emphasize cleanliness, security, and compliance with PCI and safety standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
