Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Overview

This role involves overseeing facilities maintenance contractors and managing various projects within manufacturing and life science sites. The project manager will coordinate tasks, support new contractor onboarding, and ensure effective communication with client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive project management support throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction coordination, execution, and project closeout.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with site requirements.
Review and manage project-related documentation, including SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and training materials.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering Specialist, and Engineering Document Control to facilitate timely project execution and document control.
Coordinate with facilities maintenance to support project logistics, scheduling, and site readiness, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing facility operations.
Oversee facilities maintenance contractors and assist with some HVAC-related tasks when necessary.
Qualifications

Previous experience managing facilities maintenance projects, preferably in life science or manufacturing sites
Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
Ability to oversee multiple projects and coordinate with various teams
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with HVAC tasks and site-specific facility management
