Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Mechanical Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Overview

This role involves providing comprehensive project management support for mechanical and infrastructure upgrades at a facility. The position requires overseeing large CapEx projects, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant project delivery, and collaborating with various teams to facilitate project execution.

Responsibilities

Provide project management throughout all phases, including planning, design, construction, and closeout
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet safety, schedule, scope, and compliance requirements
Review and manage project documentation such as SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and training materials
Collaborate with manufacturing, facilities, quality, maintenance, engineering specialists, and document control teams
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and site readiness with facilities maintenance to support project execution
Qualifications

5+ years of facilities mechanical experience
3-5 years of supervisory experience in mechanical or facilities projects
Background in civil or mechanical engineering preferred
Experience with mechanical systems and MEP projects
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience overseeing infrastructure upgrades and large capital projects
Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and infrastructure systems
Good understanding of project documentation and process compliance
The shift for this position is from 8 am to 5 pm.
