Job Description

This role focuses on safely and efficiently handling materials in a fast-paced shipping and receiving department. You will primarily operate a sit-down propane forklift to load and unload semi-trailers, move inventory, and support accurate labeling and documentation across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities
* Operate a sit-down propane forklift safely and efficiently for the majority of the shift.
* Load and unload semi-trailers with a focus on accuracy, safety, and care for materials.
* Handle materials throughout the shipping and receiving department, including staging, organizing, and transporting products.
* Support shipping and receiving activities by moving incoming and outgoing freight to designated areas.
* Assist with labeling materials and products to ensure proper identification and traceability.
* Help maintain accurate inventory by moving and placing items in the correct locations as directed.
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and working in the facility.
* Inspect forklift and related equipment before use and report any issues or concerns.
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet shipping, receiving, and production schedules.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area in the shipping and receiving department.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Forklift certification is preferred.
* Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
* Familiarity with inventory handling and warehouse organization.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this position is $44720.00 - $44721.00/yr.
