PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced CNC Machinists for a long-term manufacturing project in Central Michigan.

Location: Saginaw, MI Area
Pay: $23-$40/hr DOE & Skill Level
Per Diem: $130/day worked for qualified travelers

We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists who can operate and set up CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable reading blueprints, working from specifications, and using precision measuring equipment to produce quality components.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Day Shift
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Night Shift
Monday-Thursday | 4:15 PM-4:45 AM
Shift differential applies

Weekend Shift
Friday-Sunday | 5:00 AM-5:00 PM
Shift differential applies

CNC MACHINIST RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and set up CNC machinery
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy
Make machine adjustments as needed
Follow established work instructions and production specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Safely operate equipment and follow all workplace safety requirements
Work effectively with minimal supervision
Maintain production quality and meet established deadlines
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous CNC machining experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Ability to understand dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work the assigned shift
Willingness to learn and receive constructive feedback
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent trade experience preferred
Must successfully complete required skills testing/interview
Must pass required background check and drug screening
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods
Sit, reach, pull, and push with hands and arms
Bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as required
Safely handle materials and components
Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Use mechanical assistance for items weighing more than 50 lbs.
TRAVELER PER DIEM

$130 per day worked

Per diem is available to qualified travelers based on company requirements. Per diem is paid for days worked.
