Lassembleur mcanique effectue diverses tches de manutention gnrale et de fabrication, incluant la coupe et le perage de matriaux, lexpdition et la rception, la gestion de linventaire et lentretien des aires de travail. La personne participe lassemblage de sous-ensembles de tle mcanique, la production de groupes de refroidissement, ainsi quau travail de tuyauterie et de coupe. Elle doit tre laise avec la lecture de plans dassemblage, lutilisation doutils manuels et lectriques, et le travail avec des mtaux, y compris le cuivre et largent.
Responsabilits
* Effectuer des tches de manutention gnrale, incluant la coupe et le perage de matriaux, lexpdition, la rception, la gestion de linventaire et les tches de nettoyage.
* Participer aux activits de fabrication en aidant la coupe et au perage de lacier et dautres matriaux mtalliques.
* Assembler des sous-ensembles de tle mcanique, notamment deux sous-assemblages de ventilo-convecteurs, en respectant les plans et les spcifications.
* Assister la production de groupes de refroidissement (chillers) selon les besoins de la ligne de production.
* Raliser des travaux de tuyauterie et de coupe de tuyaux en respectant les mesures impriales et mtriques.
* Nettoyer les postes de travail et les espaces communs afin de maintenir un environnement de travail propre et scuritaire.
* Travailler au besoin dans des espaces confins en respectant les procdures de scurit tablies.
* Travailler au besoin en hauteur en utilisant lquipement de protection appropri.
* Utiliser des outils manuels et des outils lectriques pour les oprations de coupe, de perage, dassemblage et de finition.
* Lire et interprter des plans dassemblage pour raliser correctement les montages mcaniques.
* Effectuer des oprations de brasage sous les units, au besoin, en adoptant des positions de travail varies.
* Appliquer les consignes de sant et scurit et utiliser lquipement de protection individuelle (EPI) de faon constante.

Comptences Essentielles
* Minimum de 1 an dexprience en production.
* Minimum de 1 an dexprience avec des outils manuels et lectriques.
* Minimum de 1 an dexprience de travail avec des produits mtalliques.
* Capacit lire et interprter des plans dassemblage.
* Capacit lire des mesures impriales et mtriques avec prcision.
* Exprience de travail avec le mtal, incluant le cuivre ou largent.
* Aisance avec lutilisation doutils de production et doutils lectriques.
* Capacit travailler en hauteur.
* Capacit travailler dans des espaces confins.
* Capacit travailler dans un environnement industriel bruyant avec EPI.
* Aptitude pour le travail manuel et mcanique dans un contexte de fabrication.
* Capacit suivre des procdures et respecter les normes de qualit.

* tre laise avec lutilisation dun chalumeau (blow torch) est un atout.

The Mechanical Assembler performs a variety of general labor and fabrication tasks, including cutting and drilling materials, shipping and receiving, inventory handling, and housekeeping duties. The role involves mechanical sheet metal assembly of fan coil sub-assemblies, assisting in the production of chillers, and performing pipe fitting and cutting. The successful candidate reads assembly plans, works confidently with hand and power tools, and handles metal materials such as copper and silver in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Perform general labor tasks including cutting and drilling materials, shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and housekeeping duties.
* Assist with fabrication activities by drilling and cutting steel and other metal materials as required.
* Assemble mechanical sheet metal components, including two fan coil sub-assemblies, following plans and specifications.

* Carry out pipe fitting and cutting tasks using accurate imperial and metric measurements.
* Clean work cells and common areas regularly to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
* Work in confined spaces when required, following all applicable safety procedures.
* Work at heights when required, using appropriate fall protection and safety equipment.
* Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, drilling, assembling, and finishing metal components.
* Read and interpret assembly plans to complete mechanical assemblies correctly and efficiently.
