Job Description

This position involves operating a forklift 50% of the time and using an ERP system for manual picking and systematic transactions the other 50%. Candidates will be trained for RF scanning and will work with ingredients stored at various temperatures, including fridges, freezers, and warm rooms. The role involves following work orders to prepare for the next day, lifting and palletizing items up to 50lbs, shipping and receiving, and loading products onto trailers. Operators will move raw materials and finished products to the shipping doors in the back warehouse.

Responsibilities
* Operate forklift and walkie forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
* Utilize ERP system for manual picking and systematic transactions.
* Prepare work orders for the next day's operations.
* Lift and palletize items weighing up to 50lbs.
* Ship, receive, and load products onto trailers.
* Move raw materials and finished products to shipping doors.
* Work in areas with different temperature settings, including fridges and freezers.

Essential Skills
* Forklift and walkie forklift operation (externally certified).
* Material handling and manual picking.
* Shipping and receiving experience.
* Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
* RF Scanner experience and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Nice to have: GMP experience.
* AZ license.

Work Environment

The facility specializes in producing granola bars containing nuts, so candidates must not have peanut allergies. It adheres to GMP standards, and while it gets warm in the summer, the temperature is generally controlled. Operators work in a warehouse attached to the production floor, with two operators per shift. The aisles are tight, requiring careful navigation. PPE includes a hair net, lab coat, steel toe shoes, and gloves, with no jewelry or fake eyelashes permitted. The day shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
