Project Management Quality Services (PMQS) is actively hiring experienced Manufacturing Pipefitters for a long-term opportunity in Goose Creek, South Carolina!

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Manufacturing Pipefitter – Level 3
Location: Goose Creek, SC – Manufacturing Facility (NOT a Shipyard)
Pay: $35/hour
Per Diem: $120/day for qualified non-local candidates
Contract Duration: 6+ Years

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of related pipefitting experience.

High school diploma/GED and/or relevant trade certification preferred.

Experience installing, modifying, and repairing industrial piping systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.

Experience measuring, cutting, fitting, aligning, and installing piping systems.

Knowledge of pipe routing, elevations, pitch, and pressure requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, modify, and repair piping systems and equipment.

Lay out piping routes using blueprints and technical drawings.

Install pipe hangers, supports, risers, branch outlets, and expansion joints.

Install and connect pumps, gauges, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

Cut openings and position piping at the correct elevations and angles.

Join, seal, and test piping systems for proper pressure, leak-free connections, and operation.

Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED.

Must pass a background check.

Must pass a hair follicle drug test.

Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Must meet required safety training and PPE requirements.
