TKO Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Plate Roll Operator for a travel contract assignment with a heavy equipment manufacturer in Ohio.

Pay and Contract:

• $30.00 per hour
• $125 per day per diem, paid 7 days a week ($875 per week)
• Contract length: 30 days to 12 months
• Travel required

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a 4-roll CNC plate rolling machine (ESA S530 control) to form steel plate into cylinders, cones, and arcs
• Run existing programs from the controller and make adjustments as needed for material, thickness, and springback
• Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and dimensional specifications
• Check finished diameter, roundness, and fit using templates and measuring tools
• Load, position, and unload heavy plate using overhead cranes, lifting clamps, and rigging
• Report material defects or quality concerns to supervision
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience operating a CNC plate roll, 4-roll preferred
• Ability to adjust and troubleshoot existing programs, including roll positions and springback compensation
• Experience rolling cones is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of how plate thickness and material affect forming
• Overhead crane and rigging experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• Experience with ESA controls or other CNC plate roll controls
• Background in tank, pressure vessel, heavy fabrication, or heavy equipment manufacturing
