We are seeking a Senior Calibration Technician that is experienced working in a laboratory setting and with a large variety of analytical instruments. This Senior Calibration Technician position provides calibration support to multiple clients and locations in Fremont, CA. Some of the responsibilities of a Senior Calibration Technician include:
Perform calibrations on laboratory instruments
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and qualifications on laboratory instruments
Write proposals for new services and clients
Supervise client accounts and engage clients regarding service provided and potential new services
Enter data into spreadsheets and/or databases to record calibration or related events
Assist with Asset Management tasks to support team members and clients' needs
The Senior Calibration Technician will also be responsible for cGMP compliant documentation and integrity of data. Along with documenting the calibrations performed, the instrumentation data is be maintained in a CMMS database. SAP, ProCal, RAM or Maximo experience is desired.
Required skills of the Senior Calibration Technician include:
A four-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, other related technical field or equivalent military training and four plus years of applicable (Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration) experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience is required.
The Senior Calibration Technician must be willing to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
